Icewind Dale: Rime of the Frostmaiden is a survival horror adventure set in Ten-Towns of Icewind Dale, where the goddess Auril the Frostmaiden has cursed the region with an endless winter that has lasted for two years. Designed for levels 1-12, it has a sandbox structure with dozens of side quests, a starting Secret system that gives each PC a unique buried mystery, and a tone of bleak, isolated dread inspired by The Thing and Lovecraftian horror.
